4:2 Elisha said to her, “What can I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She answered, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a small jar of olive oil.”

2 Raja-raja 4:6-7

4:6 When the containers were full, she said to one of her sons, ¹  “Bring me another container.” But he answered her, “There are no more.” Then the olive oil stopped flowing. 4:7 She went and told the prophet. ²  He said, “Go, sell the olive oil. Repay your creditor, and then you and your sons can live off the rest of the profit.”

Jehu Becomes King

9:1 Now Elisha the prophet summoned a member of the prophetic guild ³  and told him, “Tuck your robes into your belt, take this container ⁴  of olive oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

2 Raja-raja 9:3

9:3 Take the container of olive oil, pour it over his head, and say, ‘This is what the Lord says, “I have designated ⁵  you as king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and run away quickly!” ⁶
